My practice is rooted in Western medicine, but I assess people from a holistic perspective.

Dr. Tracy Thomson is a practicing family medical doctor, educator, and speaker. Drawing from various chapters of a long career in  Western, Chinese and Functional medicine, Dr. Thomson understands the big picture and assesses people on a truly multifactorial level. She has become a  Women's Health Care Expert and works diligently to connect her patients to their spiritul core and ability to heal themselves.

Dr. Thomson works with a wide range of patients in need of a holistic perspective to their health. Her goal is to use her experience to facilitate a health care model that promotes sustainability, reduces the burden on the health care system and increases the focus and awareness on preventative medicine.

With expansive education from institutions across Canada, Dr. Thomson has been a practicing medical doctor for over 30 years and holds an Advanced Fellowship in Anti-aging, Metabolic and Functional medicine. She is American Board Certified with the American Academy of Anti-Aging and Regenerative Medicine. In 2008, Tracy established GAIA Collaborative Medicine Clinic designed to provide integrative health care programs for disease and preventative care. Her work at the clinic also focused on using cutting edge neuroscience and brain mapping technology to accurately assess and diagnose the health of your brain in critical areas almost always overlooked by conventional medicine.

Outside of her practice as a physician, Tracy is passionate about living a healthy lifestyle rooted in a strong connection with nature, meditation, and food as medicine. She loves all outdoor pursuits , in addition to her dedicated weight training, yoga practice and love of dance and music.

As such she has left her corporate medical work as TELUS Provincial Medical Director for Alberta, Precision Health Medical Director, Medical Director for TELUS Calary Health Care Center and Board Member for the Branch Out Neurological Society to fulfill her longstanding dream of living on the ocean. This has allowed her to have the time to help the local community at a grassroots level, continue writing her book on Women's Health, and expand her own spiritual practice with a deep integration with the land.
